Caliber is the largest Certification Body (CB), contractor association and 3rd party quality assurance provider for spray foam in Canada. Our Quality Assurance Program offers spray foam chemical manufacturers and suppliers with frameworks that comply with all industry codes and standards. Caliber builds and establishes trust between spray foam chemical manufacturers and building construction stakeholders through an independent framework that is Government approved and recognized by the CCMC and building officials across Canada, resulting in zero deficiencies when implemented and followed correctly. Caliber is Accredited with the International Accreditation Services, as a Personnel Certification Body (ISO 17024) and Inspection Body (ISO 17020).
Our certification program is Accredited to ISO 17024 and meets the technical training requirements of the National Building Code of Canada and current industry standard CAN/ULC 705.2.
Caliber is committed to work with its Spray Foam manufacturers, suppliers, partners and contractors to standardize and harmonize the Spray Foam industry across North America. We aim to provide confidence to Consumers, Design Community, Specifiers, Engineers, and Building Officials using Spray Foam products by rendering unbiased Certification, Audit, Complaint Resolution and Inspection Services, while following industry best practices, that will also help further our growth, and guide us to continuous improvement.

Caliber's Role in the Canadian Spray Foam Industry
Caliber is a third party to help ensure that products are installed in accordance with the manufacturers’ installation guidelines, relevant codes and standards.
Caliber is the liaison between CCMC and spray foam manufacturers.
Caliber participates in task groups to support code development.
Caliber facilitates the implementation of a Site Quality Assurance Program (SQAP) to comply with all relevant codes and standards.
Caliber is the Certification Body (inclusive of installer training and certification) and the administrator of the Site Quality Assurance Program (SQAP).
Caliber is there as a third party to address their concerns and facilitate the resolutions of installation complaints and deficiencies.

Dave is the Chief Executive Officer at Caliber. His areas of expertise include engineering, construction, project management, entrepreneurship and digital transformation. His passion for problem-solving and delivering results is why he is a trusted advisor to our clients. As CEO, he regularly collaborates with construction industry stakeholders and works with leaders in the spray foam sector to help modernize and grow the market. Prior to Caliber, Dave's background as a building envelope consultant on projects across North America gives him a deep understanding of building products. He is motivated to better communities by promoting affordable, energy efficiency and quality building construction practices and products.
Reza Haftchenari
COO
Reza is the Chief Operating Officer at Caliber. He completed his engineering degree in UK and has been part of the Construction Industry for more than 15 years, in Project Management and Engineering Consulting with experience in both residential and commercial builds. Reza has been involved with the Sprayfoam Site Quality Assurance Program for more almost 10 years and is a Member of CAN/ULC Committee for spray foam in Canada. He is passionate about working with our manufacturers, contractors partners and stakeholders to modernize, harmonize and grow the Sprayfoam industry.
Bijan Haftchenary
SQAP Manager
Bijan is the Lead Auditor at Caliber He completed his Mechanical Engineering degrees in UK. He has vast experience in education as a university professor. He has many years of management experience in various construction projects of different sizes.
Bijan is Professional Engineer and a member of PEO.
He joined Caliber 4 years ago and completed more than 1000 Certification and Re-Certification exams across Canada. He is passionate and committed to work with Manufacturers , Contractors and Installers to grow sprayfoam industry.

Othmane completed his BBM At Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland and his MBA At INSEEC School of Business and Economics in Paris, France specializing in International Brand Management and Customer Experience. Started his career in Hospitality, taking the lead in working for one of the worlds largest hospitality firms, which gave him the opportunity to work internationally in North Africa and South America. Then, he relocated to Paris, France, where he began working in customer and client experience in a start up, handling multimillion dollar projects for 4 years, developing and implementing strategies useful in improving customer relationship, dedication, and satisfaction. This company was acquired by another billion dollar firm and is still continuing on their success. As Othmane loves to take on new challenges, he took the leap and relocated to Toronto and landed a role in the Spray foam industry at Caliber as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator. He brings to the table his vast knowledge and experience in handling client inquires, business improvement strategies and how to grow a company from a start up to maturity. He is motivated to deliver the highest quality service to all their customers and clients.

Eric Theriault

Eric started his journey in the construction industry in the year 2000, where he started as an insulation installer (fiberglass). Since then, he occupied multiple roles in the industry, such as technical representative for a spray foam manufacturer where one of his roles was to teach the new contractors and installers the different aspect of the industry, whether at the Mississauga office, throughout Canada or overseas. Eric was also a General Manager for a spray foam contractor as well as a sales representative for a spray foam distributor in Ontario. His current role, as a Caliber family member, will allow him to use his passion for the industry as well as his past experiences towards providing confidence to consumers, contractors, and manufacturers of building construction products by rendering unbiased certification and inspection services, and following industry best practices through continuous improvement.
